compie's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ill miss you, south carolina..and summer. hey everyone! haha. well anyone who reads this. Just came back from south carolina. I must say at first i was apprehensive about a southern town cause im not white, but i didnt get any shit from anyone, in fact quite the opposite. Plus it was nice to get away from everybody and everything in maryland for a while. No offense if youre from maryland. But i must say ill miss-- the mexican restaurant from the first day - and the overly polite waiters as they waited for us to leave because they were just closing down. Hearing veena and my dad argue about wasting food. broadway at the beach - a bunch of cool little shops that were shiny and new. Seeing veena and my dad finally make up. The imax theatre and the save-the-reefs show that encompassed my whole veiw. The fish that looked like that pokemon, magikarp (sad i remember the name)-- with those weird mouths too..and getting to feed them. they were huge. haha. alligators - snakes, reptiles, bears, oh my. ha. no it was actually pretty damn cool. there was this tail-less alligator with no tail and a HUGE ass. Plus the largest gator in the world. i know i sound like a drunken overexcited ten year old in all of this, and for that im sorry. the two idiots in fuddruckers - one looked like davey havok and the other poser vintage rock kid..They were headbanging to oldies. it looked pretty dumb..but i guuuueess thats cool. whatever. the late night kroger stop - and kfc. yum. the pirates on the jolly rover - brad and richard. hot. hahaha. well especially brad.. i think his name was richard, was older. they made me try to lift their sail when they were holding it down without my knowledge, then made fun of me when a 4 yr old could do it and i couldnt. then they made all the kids sing the spongebob song. and theen they had a stuffed animal pirate which they made all the girls kiss. they stopped for an excruciatingly long time on my trying to convince me to kiss this stuffed animal. haha. and then they wanted to throw this annoying boy overboard, but asked me if i could stay as a pirate. And i would had they not been mininum wage workers pretending to be pirates. sigh. the awesome quiche from the coffee house - it was good. ruining my watch at the beach - it was worth it, i guess. strong currents. nice water. cool little sea shells. i know im a loser. searching the entire town for a decent, reasonable, and open restaurant - i reaaally wanted to go to the house of blues. but alas..veena and dad didnt want to. We ended up touring almost all the restaurants in town for a place, and ended up at the one we started with. humble pie. but not before running into this guy who was exeedingly stary and smiley towards me, at one point even obviously purposely almost bumping into me so he could be all smiley and stare-y. But he was kind of cute. And it was flattering, in a creepy way. the Peter Pan mini golf course - i lost. haha. oh well. it was awesome though. if anyone knows me, then they know how much i love peter pan, despite it being the spawn of a pedophile..shhh..just dont think about that part. the dirty part of town - myrtle beach's "boardwalk". i got a couple people some souveneirs. Mideivial Times - anybody whos heard of this can imagine how awesome it is. and trust me, its awesome. My dad's-client's crackpot theories on gov. dictatorship - it was crazy. that guy is insane. and of course..finishing Skinwalkers (a surprisingly good book.), coming home to a clean room (which kind of sucks because my mom cleaned it and im not going to be able to find anything), talking to a couple of friends (including brandon, who i think is either in a very good mood or very drunk, but he certainly put me in a good mood) ah, sigh. so yes. And now im watching my last adult swim of the summer. tomorrow will be my last dawsons creek of the summer. so sad. but i have a plan for this yrs school its called "self sustainable island with a few allies" haha. pretty self-explanatory. Im going to try to be comfortable with my few good friends, in and out of school, and not be all awkward feeling when theres no one around to talk to. so thats my plan. and i have to take ap calc this yr, so its going to be harrd. and i guess you all can guess what ill miss about summer. it includes adult swim, dawsons creek, compassion commission buddies, church (i cant beleive im saying this), south carolina, sleep, boys (especially jonnn), my new found glory (in boys actually looking at me), the internet, the finnigans (hanging out with them all the time), punk shows (even though i only really went to one this summer..but it was worth every show bc they had lesbian warfarre), and all the awesomeness that summer always brings.
